The OluKai Lae’ahi is a mesh slip-on sneaker with a heel that folds flat under your foot, so the same shoe wears as a sneaker or as a slide. That one detail is the reason it’s in this store: one pair covers the flight, the walk into town and the steps down to the pool.

Mesh upper, Drop-In Heel, Wet Grip sole
The upper is breathable mesh with water-resistant synthetic panels, lined with soft microfiber so it’s comfortable barefoot. The footbed is cushioned PU and lifts out to wash. The midsole is light, and the outsole is OluKai’s non-marking Wet Grip rubber for traction on wet surfaces. Shoes off in the security line, no bench
No laces and a heel that folds means the shoe comes off standing up, which is the airport win. Then the same pair does the walk to town, and with the heel pressed down it’s the slide for the ten steps to the beach bar. It’s light enough that a second pair of shoes starts to feel optional, and the mesh dries overnight if it gets rained on. It isn’t waterproof, so it’s not a shoe for wading.
