The real question with this one is whether you mind being the first person to review it. The bohio nautical print shirt went up on Amazon in July 2026, and so far nobody has rated it. Not a low score. Nothing at all. So we can tell you what the fabric is, how it is cut, and what to watch for at checkout. We cannot tell you how it looks after six trips and a dozen washes, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.

The fabric and the blend

The mix is 55 percent linen and 45 percent lyocell. Those two fibres do different jobs, and the ratio is the whole point of the shirt.

Linen is the part that breathes. It is why you can wear this at two in the afternoon in the Caribbean without soaking through it. It is also why linen shirts crease when you sit down, when you fold them, and sometimes when you only look at them.

Lyocell softens that problem. It is a cellulose fibre with more drape and more give than linen, so a blend like this one hangs better, feels smoother against skin, and creases less sharply than a straight linen shirt would. It will not be wrinkle free. Nothing with this much linen in it is. But it comes out of a suitcase looking far more presentable than the pure linen shirt packed beside it.

Care is simple enough. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, tumble dry low, warm iron if you want it crisp. The label calls dry cleaning optional rather than necessary, which is what you want from a shirt you are taking away with you.

The print and the colour

The print is where this shirt either earns its place in your bag or loses you completely. It is a nautical blueprint pattern, so sailboats, compasses and marine drawings sit faded across a warm orange base. The colour is closer to rust than to traffic cone. It reads as a design rather than a costume, and if your reference point for a beach shirt is a loud floral Hawaiian, this is the quieter, more deliberate version.

It is also unmistakably orange. There is no navy option, no white option, and no muted alternative on the listing. You either want the orange or you do not. bohio does sell a linen lyocell embroidered resort shirt at a similar price if the print is not for you.

The fit and the sizing

The cut is a relaxed resort fit with a classic spread collar, short sleeves and a plain button front. Sizes run from small through to double extra large. Because there are no reviews yet, there is no crowd feedback on whether it runs big or small. We would therefore take the relaxed fit description at face value, order your usual size, and lean on the thirty day return window if it turns out to be wrong.

Who the bohio nautical print shirt is for

Get this one if you are heading somewhere warm and would rather not look like everyone else at the swim up bar. If you have a cruise, a resort week or a run of marina dinners coming up, and you have had enough of florals, the blueprint print does something different for roughly the price of a mid range resort shirt.

Skip it if you are leaving in the next fortnight, because between the third party seller and the shipping window this one needs planning. Skip it too if the delivered price feels steep for a single shirt, because there are perfectly good linen blend shirts on Amazon for a fraction of it. They just will not look like this one.
